Joe Roberts joined Meliden in the summer of 2021 at 20 years of age after being with Rhyl Dragons and Rhyl setups amongst others before joining The Miners.
Roberts made his Meliden debut in the 3-0 Welsh Cup First Qualifying Round win away to Blaenau Ffestiniog before making his Home Debut in the FAW Amateur Trophy a week later in a 2-1 victory over Llandudno Junction, his first goal for the club came in a losing effort in the same competition at Home to Llandudno Albion.
