Meliden Football Club and Squire Visuals are pleased to announce it's collaborative Media plans for the 2025/26 season and going forward for the near future:

Socials & Community:

- All Live Match Updates from next season will move from X/Twitter to Facebook (and Instagram for important updates).

- There will be an increase in communications with the local and wider communities in regard to any information and events involving Meliden.

- There will be better promotional material online in regards to Home Matches.

- Meliden is looking at possibly implementing Online MatchDay Programmes.

- With permission, Meliden will look at potentially introducing a Club PayPal to allow for fundraising, which will mostly be based on the website in the near future.

Broadcasting & Videos:

- 'MatchTime' will remain LIVE as our main Facebook show as we prepare for Match Commentaries both Home and Away for next season, with the exception of Welsh Cup matches & Amateur Trophy matches which will still have LIVE Pre-Shows.

- 'The Aftertalk' will return as LIVE show from next season, but will remain in it's Sunday slot to allow for more content and questions, that show will be on both Facebook & YouTube.

- 'Extra-Live' will remain unchanged from last season, LIVE on Facebook for any Penalty Shootout during the season.

- Meliden will look at any potential solutions regarding recording Home matches in the future and allow for the production of Home Highlight Packages.

- Meliden will utilise more short-form content on TikTok & YouTube alongside Instagram, this includes any potential signings that can be announced on those platforms.

Meliden's Multimedia Officer Ron Squire has said:

"I believe that the position that Meliden Football Club is in regarding the Media side is very good and that will hopefully continue for some time after that, I know there are some aspects of the media side that the community are still getting used to, such as the implementation of the club website which is over a year old now and hopefully planning more content for the website as well as better communication with the local and wider communities will only improve our position, it will take time yes, I just hope this turns out well for everyone involved, which once again, You Love To See It!"
